Three Rivers Democratic Club
Southeast Sacramento County

About Us
Three Rivers Democratic Club
Three Rivers Democratic Club gets its name from the three significant rivers that flow through or border Sacramento County:
-
The Sacramento River: The largest river in California, it runs through the heart of Sacramento and is a major source of water and transportation.
-
The American River: A major tributary of the Sacramento River, it flows through Sacramento County and provides water, recreation, and important habitat.
-
The Cosumnes River: This river flows along the southeastern edge of Sacramento County and is known for its unique ecosystem and importance to the local environment.
The name "Three Rivers" evokes a sense of place and highlights the importance of these rivers to the region's identity, environment, and economy.
